Christine Higdon is a graphic designer, editor, and writer. Originally from British Columbia, she has lived in Toronto, Ottawa, and rural Nova Scotia. She was on the editorial collective of Fireweed, A Feminist Quarterly for a decade. Christine co-packaged the humourous book Zodicat Speaks – Discover Your Cat’s Astrological Signature with A.S.A. Harrison for Viking Penguin in New York. When she is not designing, editing, reading, or writing at her home in Toronto, Christine hooks rugs, worries about the bees, and longs for the ocean. She can be contacted through Hilary McMahon at Westwood Creative Artists. Earlier this fall, Christine spoke with me about her novel Lulu's Island.

Christine's book is now in bookstores! ECW Press published Christine Higdon's novel this spring under the title The Very Marrow of Our Bones. It was great to be at Christine's launch in Toronto a few weeks ago, and the Nova Scotia launch is coming up on May 12. Find more details here: https://www.christinehigdon.com/the-very-marrow-of-our-bones. Congratulations Christine!
